Today is the day all chinese people get older, and families gather to eat glutinous rice balls. My mom-in-law has build an army of rice balls all from the natural colorings of dragon fruits, pumpkins and pandan leaves. Yummy.

Wow, I am really impressed that this is all natural-colouring. I guess you are using juice from the dragon fruit, but how do you extract the colouring from pumpkin?

My mom-in-law says : “The pumpkin is boiled until soft and then simply mashed up with the flour”.
