Plus I almost bricked it 3 times... had to use the emergency recovery utility to resurrect the thing, thank goodness it worked. I am actually quite happy with the Sansa + rockbox combo. But probably like you (but not as technical), I do enjoy listening to good quality music. My husband owns a good quality headphones (noise cancelling and all that shmooz) and must admit they DO make alot of difference, those £20 ones vs £200 ones!
